Hi Tom, this is a nice article and shows what a wide variety of different options there are when it comes to getting listed with different types of agency / voice over production company. Perhaps a couple of issues for further exploration could be:
    – what type of voice over work does that company typically bring you?
    – do you need to travel for that work, or can you mostly do it from your home booth?
By the way, do you have a blog entry regarding national/international voice conventions?

Thank you! I covered the genre question in a previous blog I cited in this one: https://tomdheere.com/voiceovers-and-landing-an-agent-the-not-silent-blog-3-13-18/. I have blogged extensively on the voiceover conventions I have attended in the US, but I have never attended an international one so I can’t speak intelligently on the subject.

Perhaps I’ve been naive, but I only have one agent. Maybe I need to review this practice. I appreciate the helpful blog. Thank you!
